Driving lessons
At the moment the driving test consists of 2 parts
- Hazard Perception and Theory testing, help is available with this.
- The Practical Driving Test at a local centre.
Hazard Perception and Theory testing
The theory test consists of 50 multiple choice questions of which the pass mark is 43.
The HP test is a series of 14 video clips which feature every day road scenes.
In each video clip there will be at least 1 developing hazard.
You need to respond to the developing hazard as it begins to happen to optain a maximum score. The pass mark is 44 out of possible 70.
Den's Driving School will provide as much help with these tests, providing any advice necessary teaching and in order to pass.
The practical test
The practical test is opproximatly 40 minutes in length & begins with an eyesight test. You will be asked to safety questions about the vehicle.
